How to Prepare for Your First 3km in 2 Weeks
- The Run-Walk Method: Alternate between 2 minutes of gentle jogging and 1 minute of brisk walking for 20 to 25 minutes, three times a week. Your cardiovascular endurance will adapt quickly.
- Footwear & Apparel: Wear comfortable, well-cushioned sneakers and breathable pink sports attire. Comfort and self-expression are your best companions.
- Dynamic Warm-up: Before the starting horn sounds between and on race day, spend 10 minutes performing ankle rotations, high knees, and leg swings to prime your muscles.
