Gia Lai City Trail – Dream of the Great Forest officially returns in 2026 with an inspiring new theme: “Warriors of the Great Forest.” This fourth edition promises to be bigger and more electrifying than ever, featuring an elevated scale of organization and brand-new challenging routes designed for the trail running community that loves nature.
For its fourth comeback, Gia Lai City Trail chooses not to repeat the old courses. Instead, it introduces a completely new structure: “The Journey to Conquer 8 Mountains.” The routes have been recalculated in terms of elevation gain, gradient, and overall technical challenges, creating a more demanding and rewarding conquest experience.
This season expands the challenge with new race distances: 6km, 12km, 30km, 50km, and 70km. Greater elevation calls for smarter race strategies. Longer climbs require more thorough preparation. And as a result, the journey becomes even more exciting and truly worthwhile.
The race offers an unforgettable running experience through the majestic mountains and forests of Vietnam’s Central Highlands — where windy plateaus, vast pine forests, and mesmerizing trail routes await your conquest.
Gia Lai City Trail 2026 is not just a race — it is a journey of self-discovery in the heart of the boundless great forest.
Race day: October 30th, October 31th & November 1, 2026.
