After six successful seasons of Mekong Delta Marathon, the race officially enters a new era with a unique Cross Country Marathon format. Mekong Delta Cross Country Marathon 2026 offers runners an authentic off-road experience in the Mekong region, where participants will run through rice fields, canals, and peaceful village paths across the Mekong Delta.

This new journey begins in Can Tho City (formerly Soc Trang area) – a land where Kinh, Hoa, and Khmer cultures intersect. The course winds through lush green fields, fruit orchards, ancient pagodas, and the tranquil rhythm of life in Vietnam’s river delta. More than just a marathon, the event is a journey connecting sport, nature, and the unique cultural beauty of the Mekong region.
