The women’s 42km division at the HDBank Green Marathon 2026 will go down as one of the most thrilling races of the year, highlighted by a dual sub-3-hour finish from community champions Le Thi Ha and Doan Thi Oanh.
A 57-Second Showdown
Le Thi Ha (Binh Phuoc) captured the championship title in extraordinary fashion, stopping the clock at 2:57:55 (average pace 4:13/km). Ha’s rapid progression cements her status among the elite group of Vietnamese female runners achieving sub-3 marathon status.
Right on her heels was community veteran Doan Thi Oanh, crossing the line just 57 seconds later in 2:58:52 (pace 4:14/km). Their intense head-to-head battle kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final stretch. Rounding out the podium, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha secured third place with 3:00:59, missing the coveted sub-3 benchmark by under a single minute.
