The men’s full marathon at the HDBank Green Marathon 2026 delivered an electric performance as Trieu Tien Luyen claimed the championship title with an official time of 2:41:26 (average pace 3:49/km), finishing more than three minutes ahead of the runner-up.

The elite pack maintained intense pressure through the opening stages. The turning point arrived around the 15km mark, where Luyen launched a commanding breakaway. Demonstrating superior pacing and endurance, he held his gap to secure an uncontested victory.
The Pedigree of an Elite Athlete
Luyen’s triumph reflects years of high-performance discipline. Representing the Binh Thuan athletics team since 2019, the 24-year-old Lam Dong native boasts an elite resume: 2023 Tien Phong Marathon 21.1km national champion, third place in 2024 (1:11:02), and personal bests of ~1:11 in HM and ~2:36 in FM.
His engine was built on rigorous national-team training blocks of 12–13 sessions weekly, logging 20–25km per day. While no longer competing in the national squad circuit, Luyen continues to showcase world-class competitiveness on the road racing scene.
